30% Portfolio Growth in 3 Months – The Missing Puzzle Piece

For me, your Boot Camp in September was a combination of catapult, life saver, catalyst and missing puzzle piece. Thank you.
It catapulted my oscillating equity curve up $900 (0.3%) the day following your Boot Camp, a week later I was up just over $20,000 (7.5%), and three months after your Boot Camp I was up just under $80,000 (30%).
The life saver, the catalyst, the missing puzzle piece that I got from your Boot Camp was Jim Berg's example of a well designed, clearly defined, and fully integrated system. It is a complete "Teach-A-Man-To-Fish" approach from how to find bait and bait the hook to how to reel it in to how to gut it and fillet it.
It has the scan criteria and method. It has the entry and exit points and how to determine those. There is built -in money management (how key is that!). It uses a "Weight-Of-Evidence" process to determine what and when to trade. There is nothing missing.
It can be used as it is "right out of the box" or it can be modified to suit the individual trader's preferred indicators. Bolt your weekly newsletter onto that foundation and I, as a trader, now have a seriously funky and useful platform to operate from.
Your weekly newsletter goes through notional trades and in doing so you reinforce the trading criteria and you regularly inspect and correct the system as necessary. Your weekly newsletter also demonstrates how to create a documented trading plan for each trade.
I have been trading full time for over 6 years now and I have spent in excess of $50,000 on seminars, educational and training material, and the like and yours is the most complete I have found.
There was a second missing puzzle piece and I had already been using that for a while. That was the trading coaching with Catherine Taylor (or "How to be one of the 10% of traders still trading and consistently making money in 12 months time").
Even with Jim's godsend of a system I still had stiff down periods or periods where my equity curve tracked sideways. With Catherine's coaching I am learning more of how I operate in the market - what upsets me, what distracts me, what excites me (and that for each of us it is different and often unique), how I unconsciously undermine my own success.
I am learning to be a less emotional, more disciplined, more aware, more consistently profitable, more professional trader. A more successful trader.

Now the kicker is I nearly did not go to your September Boot Camp. Even when Catherine mentioned it, I thought it would be too basic for where I was at.
And I was right in a way. It was basic. But it integrates the basics into a complete package. And I was missing that integration of the basics (and possibly anyone who is not trading profitably is missing that too).
As you can see I am very grateful that I did put my money up and come to your Boot Camp. I rate Jim Berg's Share Trading Boot Camp was one of the three best investments I have made in my six years of full time investing and trading.

Let me put it this way, I have told my wife that if I unexpectedly drop off the twig and she needs to learn trading she should do your next Boot Camp, read Elder's "Trading For A Living" and attend Catherine's "You In The Market" weekly coaching sessions for traders and she won't need to worry about how to provide for our two young daughters.
